Spotted in 49 states: How to protect yourself, your family from a coyote should you see one

(InvestigateTV) — Coyotes have been spotted in every American state with the exception of Hawaii.

Once found primarily in western deserts and plains, millions of coyotes now roam in the continental United States.

Over the years, experts say they have adapted to an urban lifestyle meaning you could see one in your backyard.
