Man accused of spiking chocolate milk with methamphetamine, sickening several people

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT/Gray News) - A man in Kentucky was arrested for allegedly drugging a container of chocolate milk that sickened five people.

Lexington police said camera footage at a residence on Loudoun Avenue showed 34-year-old Eric Rhule putting an unknown substance, believed to be methamphetamine, into a container of chocolate milk.

A men’s drug recovery center appears to be located at the address listed on the arrest citation.

According to police, at least five people drank milk from the container and became ill.

Rhule was confronted by his probation officer, who found Suboxone and methamphetamine in his possession.

Rhule was taken into custody and charged with five counts of wanton endangerment, trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
