Jennifer Crockett

Jennifer Crockett joins Fox 8 as a veteran, award-winning journalist committed to telling stories that impact the lives of people in southeast Louisiana. She anchors the 9 and 10 p.m. newscasts on Saturdays and Sundays and reports during the week.

With more than 15 years of combined experience in print, radio, digital and broadcast media in Louisiana, Crockett joins Fox 8 after a tenure in public relations as senior counselor with The Ehrhardt Group in New Orleans.

She previously covered sports and news in the New Orleans television market, where she earned Murrow, Emmy, Press Club of New Orleans and Sigma Delta Chi awards for outstanding individual and team achievements in broadcast journalism.

She also worked in news and special projects for WBRZ-TV (ABC) and was an anchor-producer and multimedia journalist at WGMB-TV (FOX) and WVLA-TV (NBC) in Baton Rouge. She guest-hosted WJBO radio’s morning news program and provided legislative reporting for Louisiana Public Broadcasting. Crockett serves on the Press Club of New Orleans board of directors.
